Overview: This practical online session explores how school librarians can move beyond a supportive role to become true learning coaches. By partnering with teachers as co-educators, librarians can embed inquiry, critical thinking, and information literacy into every subject area. Identify practical strategies for initiating co-teaching partnerships with subject teachers. Explore how to deepen these relationships through co-planning, co-teaching, and co-assessment. By the end of the session, you will: Have identified one teacher you can approach to begin or extend collaboration. Be equipped with conversation starters and first-step strategies that reduce teacher workload.
